IZUMIBASHI

Founded in 1857 in Ebina, Kanagawa Prefecture, Izumibashi Shuzō is a family-run brewery currently led by its sixth generation. Deeply rooted in its terroir, the house prioritizes local ingredients: the rice is grown in the surrounding fields, and the water is drawn from a well fed by snowmelt from the Tanzawa Mountains.

Its flagship Tonbo (Dragonfly) series, inspired by the dragonflies that frequent their rice paddies, reflects the brewery's identity—a perfect harmony between tradition and a profound sense of place.
