MASUMI

Established in 1662 in Nagano, Masumi was founded by the Miyasaka family, former samurai who named their brewery after a sacred local mirror. The house made history in 1946 with the discovery of Yeast No. 7, now essential to the sake world.
Using this legendary yeast and pure Shinshu water, Masumi crafts elegant, balanced sakes—from traditional Yamahai to modern innovations like their Sparkling Origarami.
