KENBISHI

KENBISHI

Founded in 1505 in Itami, Hyōgo Prefecture, Kenbishi Shuzō is one of Japan’s oldest sake breweries. Led by the founding family for over five centuries, it preserves a unique traditional expertise. The house relies on the famous "Miyamizu" spring water, the Yamahai brewing method, and the blending of aged sakes to create deep, rich cuvées.

It also continues to craft its own traditional wooden barrels, a testament to its historic legacy. The name Kenbishi, meaning "sword-diamond," symbolizes the strength and clarity embodied in each of its sakes.
