MOUNT GAY Single Estate Series

In 2015, Mount Gay purchased land that was part of its former estate, becoming, for the first time since the early 20th century, a fully vertically integrated operation, from sugar cane to bottle.
This new Single Estate series is created exclusively with sugar cane molasses grown on the estate. Fermented, distilled, aged and blended at the Mount Gay distillery, this liquid is a unique expression of the Mount Gay terroir in Barbados.
For the first edition of this new series, Master Blender Trudiann Branker has created a blend of rums from the 2016 and 2017 sugarcane harvests. The distillation is carried out entirely in copper stills and the liquid is then aged in old Quercus Alba Bourbon casks.
This first edition of the Single Estate series is limited to 4,002 bottles worldwide.
