Nose : ample, rich. Alternately lemony, roasted (chestnut, coffee), exotic (pineapple), fruity (pear, apple), herbaceous and spicy (pepper, clove), the first one shows a lot of scope. Covered with a thin layer of arnica, it then becomes more and more rural (orchard, field flowers), honeyed and oily (nuts). As it goes on, apples and pears gradually flood the aromatic palette with their syrupy and juicy scents

Palate : concentrated, voluntary. Of a very pleasant rusticity, the attack in mouth deploys tannins at the same time herbaceous, floral, fruity and powdered (ginger, rice). In the middle of the mouth, ginger and candied lemons accentuate the nice roughness of the taste palette. It evokes fruits macerating in a deliciously sweet juice. This metaphor wonderfully illustrates the fruity quality of this Calvados appellation Domfrontais.

Overall : long, greedy. At the beginning, apple jelly, honey and candied pears compete with intensity. Some dried fruits (walnut, date, fig) follow them closely. Green (hay, pasture), the retro-olfaction is particularly spring-like and salivating. As a climax, the empty glass transports us at high speed to the fruit-picking season.
