MASUIZUMI

MASUIZUMI

Founded in 1893 in the historic Iwase-machi district of Toyama, Masuda Shuzo is one of Japan’s pioneers of Ginjo sake. Nestled between the Sea of Japan and the Tateyama mountains, the brewery draws from a terroir perfect for crafting fine, elegant sakes. Now led by fifth-generation president Ryuichiro Masuda and master brewer Hatanaka,

the house continues to honor its artisanal heritage. The name Masuizumi (満寿泉) combines the characters for "fullness" and "longevity," symbolizing a sake of prosperity and harmony that remains true to the spirit of Toyama.
