François Arbellot de Vacqueur is the heir to a family of cognac producers, growers and wine merchants that dates back to 1840. Alongside Antoine Quéron and Eric Aiguillon, who are both also from wine-grower and producer families, he has presided over the destiny of this prestigious cognac house since 2016. This version produced in the terroir of Bons Bois offers a series of different flavour and aroma ensembles, each one more beautiful than the last. With steadfast youth, over time it has acquired a maturity that inspires great emotion.

Nose : Refined, distinguished. Candied ginger, raisins and soot notes immediately make for a very classy aroma palette. Allowed to breathe, the nose becomes more roasted (coffee) and vanilla. It then becomes brighter with aromas of hyacinth, citrus fruit zest and roasted mango.

Appearance : Cuivre orangé.

Palate : Ebullient, elegant. On the attack, a medicinal substrate (ointment, mustard) plays host to ground coffee, cinnamon, clove and citrus fruit (orange, mandarin). The mid-palate takes us into a woodworker’s workshop.

Overall : Long, silky. The start of the finish is characterized by notes of wax, leather and precious wood. The honeyed after-taste (lime blossom, heather) is rich (raisin cake, roasted apple, juicy melon).
