HEMISPHERES is a complex blend of two whiskies, worlds apart.
A tiny New Zealand maker of Manuka smoked Single Malt. One of Scotland’s largest distilleries#P,& with a spirit that’s urban, yet elegant. Some things shouldn’t work. But they do.
Untethered by tradition and enabled by ingenuity, Thompson Distillers are pioneering a new world of whisky. Manuka Wood#P,& a flavour native to them, yet unfamiliar to us intrigued and inspired in equal measure. Through the shared language of whisky, good folk and smoke, we found kindred spirits. And flavours that we knew would blend beautifully together.
The result is Hemispheres, an unpeated blend that’s unpeated, smoky and herbal that celebrates ever-expanding horizons in whisky.

Nous sommes des amis qui croient que l’on peut faire plus concernant les whiskys Blend. Beaucoup plus. Et si notre maison est un studio de mélange à Leith, notre mission est mondiale. Nous voulons rendre cette industrie, cet art, beaucoup plus humain. Beaucoup plus expérimental. Beaucoup moins industrialisé. Beaucoup plus amusant. Mais nous savons que nous ne pouvons pas le faire seuls. Parce que nous savons que c'est plus grand que chacun d'entre nous.

Nous nous procurons certains des meilleurs whiskies du monde, mais une fois que ces échantillons arrivent sur notre table de mélange, ils sont tous égaux. Nous jugeons leur qualité à travers un seul critère : la capacité du liquide à contribuer à l'expérience que nous créons. Pas l'origine, la réputation, l'âge, le coût ou le récit. Aucune prétention.
