Le Rataf is the meeting of the natural sweetness of fresh grapes and the character of a Burgundy grape spirit. It is crafted from fresh Aligoté grape juice from Meursault, blended with a Fine de Bourgogne made from the lees of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, distilled in Pommard.
It is matured in large oak casks in Beaune using a perpetual solera system, where each new vintage enriches the previous ones, creating depth and continuity from one harvest to the next.
Rooted in Burgundian tradition, Le Rataf is best enjoyed chilled, as an aperitif, over ice, or with a splash of sparkling water. It also pairs well with cheese and lends itself naturally to cocktail creation.
