Nose : both refined and heady. Revealing medicinal and mineral notes (chalk), iodine (sea spray), salt, delicate smoke, as well as fruit (pear) and vanilla, the nose shows two faces, each equally breath-taking. Allowed to breathe, aromas of fleur de sel and shellfish are gradually coated in a fine layer of herbaceous liquorice.

Palate : unctuous, creamy. Cut hay and lucerne flavours bring the palate remarkable freshness. A sprinkling of wildflowers (dandelion, daffodil, snowdrop) and sea spray add the finishing touches. Here, the peat has soaked up even more coastal mineral salts.

Overall : delicately silky. In a stunning summary of the nose and palate, the finish evokes a seaweed and kelp-strewn beach at low tide. Bringing a poetic touch, smoke rings from a subtle Havana cigar spread through this sunny and serene maritime scene.
