This bottling comes to us from Panama, distilled in 2014. It was aged for 9 years in casks, including 3 years in a tropical climate, before being bottled at 45%. This rum has a round, complex profile with aromas of molasses, liquorice and lychee.

Through its colourful range, Rum Journey Label by Italian bottler Hidden Spirits is an invitation to travel across a variety of origins with strong, characteristic profiles. They brilliantly combine tropical and continental ageing for ideal aromatic characters to introduce the great rum-producing countries.

Hidden Spirits was founded in 2013 in Italy and its mission is to discover and select the finest casks of single malt Scotch whisky and rum to create unforgettable, limited edition independent bottlings. The spirit of its owner, Andrea Ferrari, is reflected in each of its selections. Passion, care and rigour are the watchwords in the choice of bottlings, giving them an undeniable strength that will endure over time.

Nose : Passion fruit, treacle, bitter orange, café au lait, caramel.

Palate : Intense and rich, liquorice, menthol, lychee.

Overall : Long and complex.
