‘Quality and respect for the terroir’ is the motto of Maison Prunier, whose trading activities date back to 1769. From the renowned clay-limestone terroir of Grande Champagne, this venerable version is made exclusively from the ugni blanc grape variety. Distilled in a six-hectolitre coal-fired still, it was aged in a 270-litre red oak cask before being transferred to a dame-jeanne in the early 1960s. Abundantly and very diversely fruity, its range of aromas and flavours has retained a youthful spirit that inspires admiration. It also has a fresh herbaceousness reminiscent of a great Speyside single malt.
