TSUKINOKATSURA

Founded in 1675 in Fushimi, Kyoto, Masuda Tokubee Shoten is the region’s oldest brewery. Its flagship sake, Tsuki no Katsura ("The Laurel of the Moon"), is a pioneer of both Nigori (cloudy sake) and Koshu (aged sake), having created the first sparkling Nigorizake in 1964 and aged Daiginjo in porcelain since 1965.

The brewery’s modern selections, like Yanagi, are celebrated for their refined, aromatic profile with notes of citrus and white flowers—a perfect harmony of ancient tradition and bold innovation.
