Tsukino Katsura is a pioneer brewery of the "Nigori" style of sake, a style that offers high quality sakes.
Nigori sake or "cloudy sake" often guarantees a unique tasting sensation, and Tsukinokatsura iwai daiginjo nigori sake is no exception. It is not brewed in the same way as ordinary sake, and is bottled at the right stage of fermentation to provide a rich bouquet of aromas with fruity notes, combined with a complex but refreshing and indulgent taste. This daiginjo sake is delicate and a little more acid since it's rice polishing ratio is beyond 50%.
