MASUMI KURO BLACK

This traditional ‘water-type’ sake was made from three varieties of rice: Miyama Nishiki,Yamada Nishiki, and Hitogokochi. Its name, Kuro, references the brilliant black finish of Japanese lacquer. The brew’s fresh nose gives way to a slightly sweet and tart palate, which then evolves into a pleasant herbal bitterness, and a dry finish.
