PROFILE : This buckwheat whisky unveils a harmonious and voluptuous profile, featuring resinous, fruity, floral, rich and spicy notes. Distilled in a direct-fired charentais pot still, this bottling was matured in an oak cask from the Brocéliande forest.

Nose : Rich and complex. Resinous (pine), fruity (peach, mirabelle plum), floral (iris), indulgent (toffee, buckwheat galette) and spicy (clove, nutmeg), the aromatic profile is wonderfully voluptuous. With aeration, aromas of incense, linden honey, hazelnut and candied citrus fruits (orange, lemon) blend together beautifully.
Palate : Elegant and full-bodied. More autumnal (chestnut, sweet chestnut) and more tertiary (forest floor, dried leaves), the flavour profile nevertheless retains the same freshness of expression as the nose. Over time, flavours of ripe mirabelle plum, buckwheat and bourbon vanilla envelop a smooth, velvety finish.
Overall : Long and delicate. Overflowing with natural character and generosity, it is at once malty, cocoa-like and minty. Gradually, notes of pipe tobacco, flax seeds and sunflower seeds bring great originality to a lively and vibrant aftertaste. Later, the dry extracts left in the empty glass release fragrances of precious woods, mash and porridge.
