CHRISTIAN DROUIN Pomme Prisonnière - Pays d'Auge Carafe

Developed by Christian Drouin, the "trapped apple" principle consists in swelling the fruit in the carafe. The carafe is then filled with Calvados du Pays d'Auge. During the long months of maceration, the taste of the apple is added to that of the Calvados. The fruit can be kept indefinitely, provided it is always covered with Calvados. The expression of the apple is a Calvados marked by notes of apple, apricot, honey and sweet spices.
