Prune and roundness... This calvados is the result of double distillation. It has undergone classic ageing in old calvados casks, followed by a year in casks containing sherry. The nose is rich and round, with notes of dried and candied fruits such as prune and morello cherry. There are also hints of pastry. Full and fat on the palate, with mellow, supple tannins. Plenty of substance and a finish with a hint of bergamot.
