CHRISTIAN DROUIN 1977 Pays d'Auge (Fûts de Calvados)

Calvados Pays d'Auge distilled in 1977 and kept to this day in oak barrels. Spent 3 to 4 years in sherry casks, giving it a beautiful mahogany color and a surprisingly complex bouquet. Exceptional concentration on the palate. Reviewed by Patrick Dussert-Gerber in the Guide des Vins de France: "An excellent Calvados with spicy, floral aromas and a smooth, non-aggressive mouthfeel, a bottle to be enjoyed as a digestif".
