CABEZA LLENA CUBA 1948

Nose : Rich, complex. Alongside impressive fruit freshness (apricot, orange, prune), the nose is nourished by stunning beeswax aromas. A very old Rasteau or Banyuls fortified wine immediately comes to mind.

Appearance : Acajou.

Palate : Delicate yet invigorating. Underscored by an incredibly soft mouthfeel, the palate is filled with tropical flavours (very ripe banana and mango, roasted pineapple, melon). It then becomes more powdery (cocoa, grated ginger), with a texture like biting into wild peach skin.

Overall : Dense, full. Marked by closely intertwined flavours of orange and dark chocolate, the finish gradually takes on a more autumnal feel (chestnut, date, dried leaves). Despite beaming with maturity, a steady menthol freshness remains. The empty glass releases aromas of precious wood, rice powder and slightly burnt cane syrup.
