ARMORIK Sherry Cask BIO

Armorik Sherry Cask is aged entirely in Oloroso Sherry casks. These casks, traditionally used for Scotch whisky, were also used to make sherry wine, a close cousin of Pineau des Charentes. This Armorik is therefore characterized by spicy, candied fruit notes that enhance Armorik's characteristic fruitiness. An intense and generous whisky, combinig the richness of Breton and Spanish terroirs. Made from organically grown French barley and distilled in traditional pot stills, it illustrates the desire to create an exceptional single malt that reflects the Breton character: a rich, fruity whisky that is more respectful of the environment. Gold medallist at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2017 and International Spirits Challenge 2021, and silver medallist at the Concours Général Agricole 2019.
