ALABAT is Simon Vignau’s dream: to write a new chapter in the history of Armagnac, while continuing to highlight a terroir, a family legacy, and the work of several estates. Through its various single casks, ALABAT now offers an innovative, bold, and radiant image. The 2001 edition features an Armagnac of exceptional persistence and freshness, coming from the Poutëou estate. Aging in French oak from Gascogne gives it candied and woody notes, as well as pastry and exotic aromas.

Nose : The first nose reveals floral notes (rose, linden) and white fruit (peach). More candied and woody notes appear on the second nose. With more time, aromas of exotic fruits (lychee, pineapple) emerge.

Appearance : Dorée avec des éclats cuivrés.

Palate : Intense onset of fresh fruits. Subsequently, notes of vanilla, candied fruits (apricot, prune), and indulgent flavors of baked apple appear.

Overall : An Armagnac of exceptional persistence and freshness. The final notes are characterized by pastry and exotic aromas.
