This sweet wine is made from hand-picked Pedro Ximénez grapes left in the sun for 21 days. After pressing, the must is fermented in American oak barrels, where it is then aged for 12 months to develop its complex aromas and rich texture. It is clarified by natural decanting and then bottled after a light cellulose filtration. Ximénez-Spínola PX Vintage is a rich, complex wine with a wide range of aromas. It is an ideal accompaniment to desserts with dried fruit or chocolate, or can be enjoyed on its own to fully appreciate its richness.

Nose : Aromas of ripe grapes, sultanas and dried plums dominate. Slight oxidation and subtle wood notes are also present.
Palate : On the palate, the attack is fresh and velvety, with well-integrated acidity making it easy to drink. Flavours of dates, figs and sultanas are present.
