The nose, very hoppy due to the double cold hopping, is softened by caramelised and vanilla malts and subtle fruit (peach, citrus), white flower and resinous aromas. The palate is round and pleasantly soft, with little sweetness for the style. For the anecdote, the idea for the recipe came from a misinterpretation of a tweet from the brewer announcing "a day of double brewing a Joker IPA"#P,& his followers having understood "a day of brewing a Double Joker IPA." A misunderstanding that led to a beautiful creation, full of flavour and punch!
Resonance pairings: Gazelle horn, duck with orange sauce.
Contrasting pairings: Spicy dishes, blue-veined cheeses".
