A carefully crafted blend of old Irish whiskeys with a high proportion of pot still and malt whiskeys. This unique whiskey has been awarded plaudits in abundance from whiskey connoisseurs around the world. Triple cask-matured for depth and balance. A very fine aged whiskey derived from 12 to 15 years matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.

Nose : intensely Irish! A real horn of plenty, blackcurrants, peaches and box tree. Evokes the colour green on the first nose. Gourmand notes of caramel and candy floss. After aeration, more pronounced notes of cereal appear. Soft notes of dry hay. Iris.

Palate : extremely pleasant, very smooth and fruity. Develops rapidly into mint leaves. Strong reappearance of red fruits followed by more pronounced notes of oak.

Overall : fairly long. A slight woody bitterness.
