It involved balancing its complexity while ensuring it remains easy to appreciate and savor. The light, sweet note of vanilla from the Irish grain whiskies was subtly blended with the rich, deep spice of the triple-distilled malts. The whole is harmonized by a touch of peat smoke and a long, lingering finish.

Nose : Rich and Complex. Combining and early hint of peat and the sweet sherry cask characteristics.
Palate : Smooth and well balanced. Notes of vanilla, peppery spice and rich vine fruits such as raisins, dates and sultanas.
Overall : While the sherry notes taper off, the peat lingers. The boldness of the malt shows its depth of character.

Closer to the producer
Titanic Distillers was born from the desire to create premium spirits as a tribute to those who worked at Belfast’s shipyard over a century ago. Founders Peter Lavery, Stephen Symington, and Richard Irwin were driven by a desire to celebrate the great ships built in said shipyard. Their new distillery and visitor center allow guests to explore
the site where the Titanic last rested before her maiden voyage. By establishing the first whiskey distillery in operation in Belfast for nearly 90 years, the founders of Titanic Distillers also shed light on the significance of whiskey in their city’s history.
