PROFILE : This single malt reveals a fine, fresh profile, featuring vanilla, milky, fruity, herbal and coastal notes. Crafted from Concerto and Laureate barley, it is matured in a Buffalo Trace bourbon cask before being bottled at cask strength.

Nose : Fine, fresh. On the first nose, fragrances of vanilla, coconut milk, pear, and pineapple delicately weave into a peat with equally subtle herbaceous (cut hay), saline (samphire), and peppery accents. With aeration, citrus zests (lemon, grapefruit) and cloves bring it a great deal of vivacity.
Palate : Elegant, dynamic. Refreshed by flavors of white mint, this same peat becomes more root-like, malty, and iodized (mineral salts, kelp). Over time, while transcending its island character, the flavor palette takes on milky (yogurt), honeyed (acacia), and licorice tones.
Overall : Nuanced, stately. Both lemony, maritime (notes of sea spray and shellfish), and intensely vegetal, evoking fresh alfalfa, it progressively evolves towards an earthier register, recalling blocks of peat drying under a bright sun. The retro-olfaction then reveals delicate aromas of zucchini blossom, accompanied by flavors of lime tart and nuances of eucalyptus, which beautifully enhance a natural and authentic finish.
