Produced at the La Alteña distillery, Tapatio is a very special vintage, to say the least, as it was reserved for the friends and family of Don Felipe and Carlos Camarena. Aged for at least four years in French oak casks, this Extra Añejo tequila is incredibly rich. It's a blend of Mexico and Scotland: savoury and salty, with notes of lime, verbena, exotic fruit and liquorice.
Nose : Intense, gourmand. Sel et cornichon, poivre et cannelle, citron vert et verveine sont autant de duos qu’il propose d’entrée. Son joli boisé n’est pas sans rappeler certains single malts côtiers. Par son classicisme et sa délicatesse, il se révèle très attirant.
Overall : Onctueuse, fine. Le sel effectue son grand retour. A vrai dire, il n’était pas parti bien loin. Chaque note, qu’elle soit florale ou bien fruitée, oscille et même hésite entre le poivre et le sel. La rétro olfaction est sur la pulpe des fruits. Le verre vide est un concentré de Téquila.
