PROFILE : This single malt reveals a rich and full-bodied profile, featuring fruity, honeyed, waxy, floral and spicy notes. This bottling was matured in a second-fill American oak cask produced by the Barossa family cooperage.

Nose : Full-bodied and deep. A blend of honey and wax, the opening aromas gradually become spicier (ginger, cinnamon), more vanilla-driven, and exotic (plantain banana). With aeration, notes of iris and lily emerge, filling the atmosphere with an increasingly heady floral character. Over time, the profile develops towards richer, more concentrated notes of candied fruit (lemon, pineapple), balsamic aromas (pine resin), and medicinal nuances (castor oil).
Palate : Rich and substantial. A vanilla and fruit-driven expression of the nose, the flavour profile is refreshed by elegant herbal notes (alfalfa, green barley). Through the mid-palate and into the finish, yellow fruits (mirabelle plum, white nectarine, greengage plum) bring remarkable depth, richness, and smoothness.
Overall : Silky and fully developed. Energised by the presence of fresh citrus notes (grapefruit, combava lime) and noble spices (cardamom, fresh ginger, star anise), it reveals further layers of vanilla (vanilla pod) and exotic fruit (yellow kiwi, persimmon). On the retronasal finish, aromas and flavours of seasoned oak highlight the influence of beautifully controlled and perfectly integrated wood.
