Distilled two years after the acquisition of The Macallan distillery by its current owner, the Edrington company, this single cask joins the prestigious Speymalt from Macallan collection, created in 1998 by the Gordon & MacPhail trading house. An emblematic range, whose oldest vintages date back to 1938, 1940, 1950 and 1965. Very finely nuanced, the chromatic palette of this version constitutes a range of golden hues whose maturity of expression particularly highlights the fruity, floral, herbaceous, malty and medicinal character of its harmoniously oxidative aromatic and taste palette.
