Rémi Landier XO Fins Bois, formerly known as "XO Vieille Réserve", is a subtle, elegant eau-de-vie. A Fins Bois Cognac aged for at least 15 years in cask, including 3 years in new oak and 12 years in red oak. Light and round, it is marked by notes of oak, spices and vanilla.
Nose : sweetness. Notes of fresh fruit, orange, apricot, quince, apple. Evolves into vanilla and caramel. Greener notes of freshly cut grass. Lime leaf. Return of red fruits and dried fruits, hazelnut, almond, pecan.
Palate : full-bodied and stealthy at the same time. Develops pepper and black licorice. Sweetness.
Overall : slightly bitter, then returns to the fruity notes of the start.
