This Pineau Blanc 1995 Cuvée d'Exception is the result of a blend of freshly harvested grape must “mutated” with young cognac. Aged in ex-cognac casks (oak barrels) in 1995 and bottled in July 2024, this blend has produced a particularly aromatic Pineau, in which the cognac has delicately blended with the grape must over time. Age : 29 years AOC : Pineau des Charentes Blanc Grape variety: Ugni blanc Aging: Oak barrels A very rare wine, this Pineau Blanc reveals, beneath its golden color, a rich, ample profile with pronounced notes of liquorice rancio, exotic fruit and empyreumatic aromas.

Color : Dorée.

Nose : Fruity and rich. Orange blossom, candied fruit (apricot, pineapple, quince), chestnut.

Palate : Tasty and well-balanced. Exotic fruits (lychee, passion fruit, peach), nuts (almond, nutmeg), empyreumatic.

Overall : Long and persistent. Quince, orange zest, sweet spices (pepper, liquorice rancio).
