    Crafted from the Cristalline sugarcane variety, the rums from the Port-au-Prince distillery are distilled in a 1,500-litre pot still heated by a bain-marie, designed by the Alsatian family-run company Müller GmbH. Both powerful and indulgent, this five-year-old tropical-aged version radiates with mature expression. A superb continuation of the three-year-old Providence from the same Itinéraires range, its aromatic and flavour profile explores fruit-driven territories with deliciously tropical, candied, and juicy overtones.

    Color : vieil or soutenu.

    Nose : Ample, elegant. Tropical (pineapple, banana), empyreumatic (burnt cane), citrusy, vanilla-laced and candied (mirabelle plum, pear), the aromatic palette is particularly layered. With aeration, notes of cardamom, nutmeg, and iris concrete bring an added level of refinement and nobility.

    Palate : Both lively and silky. With a delicate texture reminiscent of rice powder, the flavour profile gracefully extends the aromatic impression. Over time, it reveals delicious notes of panela, vanilla flan, and combava liqueur.

    Overall : Serene, balanced. Rooty (gentian) and pastoral (sugarcane field, wildflowers), the finish dazzles with maturity. Floral (vetiver, geranium), the retro-olfaction highlights a balsamic (cedar, pine), saline and slightly camphoric character, bringing freshness and poise to this fully mature finale.
