Part of the new OCEANA collection, Planteray Fiji 2012 stems from a historic partnership with Paradise Beverage Distillery. Bottled at 45.0%, this molasses rum underwent a signature double ageing process: 11 years in tropical conditions in bourbon casks, followed by 3 years in Ferrand casks in southwestern France. The intense and complex nose reveals guava, roasted pineapple, leather, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, a rich and oily texture delivers vibrant mango and citrus zest. The tasting concludes with a long, persistent finish marked by passion fruit and volcanic minerality.

Nose : Intense and complex, with molasses, plantain, guava, quince, orange and roasted pineapple, with deeper notes of leather, light tobacco, tropical flowers and a hint of clove and smoke.

Palate : Rich and oily with a lively acidity, featuring pineapple and mango, evolving towards citrus zest and eucalyptus.

Overall : Long and persistent, with vanilla, passion fruit, soft spices, cherry stone and a volcanic minerality.
