To make this eau-de-vie, the fresh gentian roots are cleaned and crushed, before being macerated in
in neutral alcohol for 3 weeks. After distillation, we reduce the alcohol content using Steige spring water ;
This water is extremely pure, as it is naturally filtered by the Vosges schist, and is cold-filtered to perfect the production process.
Nose : Slightly woody and smoky
Palate : Forest, damp and earthy notes appear
Overall : A few smoky notes accompany the length of the earthy aromas.
