NINKASI Grape Ale Barrel Aged #01 Unitaire

Nose : Rich, concentrated. An unequivocal sign of the time spent in barrel, the first nose is tangy and oaky, with fruity notes (grape marc, strawberry, white peach) full of freshness. On aeration, an oriental sweetness dominates (pastries, dates, prunes).

Appearance : Rosée

Palate : Full and juicy. In keeping with the nose, the attack is fresh, fruity and exotic (strawberry, blueberry, citrus fruit, lychee). Then the work of the cask is magnified by the honeyed fullness of the whisky and the acidic tannins of the wood.

Overall : Light and elegant. The tannic structure of the aftertaste (grape skins, orange peel) still dominates the start of the finish. Tasty (salted butter caramel), the finish is refreshed by citrus fruit.
