To celebrate the appointment of Junji Iseki as Chief Blender, the Japanese House unveils an exceptional limited edition: The Nikka Limited. This cuvée pays tribute to the art of blending and its transmission within Nikka Whisky. It symbolizes the passing of the torch between two key figures, Hiromi Ozaki, Chief Blender until 2025, and his successor, Junji Iseki. Through this creation, Nikka Whisky continues its story, perpetuating a tradition of excellence shaped by precision, patience, and the founding vision of Masataka Taketsuru, widely regarded as the father of Japanese whisky.
A MEANINGFUL SHOWCASE
Beyond the whisky itself, The Nikka Limited also stands out through its bottle and presentation box. For the first time in Nikka Whisky’s history, the glass takes on a deep black hue, like the raising of a curtain on a new era, following the House’s 90th anniversary celebrated in 2024. The now-iconic blue-grey tone subtly enhances the modernity of this timeless design. On the label, the signatures of Hiromi Ozaki and Junji Iseki unite, sealing this symbolic handover. The silver embossed logo contrasts elegantly with the glossy black, highlighting the exclusivity of this edition, limited to 8,000 bottles worldwide. Inside the box, handwritten notes from both blenders offer a personal perspective on the creation, inviting each enthusiast to discover not only a whisky, but also a story of legacy.
