It is at the heart of this sanctuary that "MARS The Y.A." is matured. This high-caliber blended malt brings together the best of Mars' expertise, combining the finesse of Komagatake's alpine distillates with the richness of Tsunuki’s. Matured predominantly in bourbon casks, these malts soak in the island climate to develop a unique signature, right at the intersection of tropical fruits and the sea spray of the place known as the "Island of Water."

    Nose : Aromas of tanned leather, moist moss, and soft peat smoke are beautifully balanced by lush, ripe yellow fruit notes of banana and tankan (a citrus hybrid between mandarin and sweet orange).

    Palate : A vibrant and silky entry where gentle smoke intertwines with honeyed fruit, supported by a hint of salinity and a fine oak structure.

    Overall : Long and warming, with sweet smoke and rich umami lingering gracefully.
