This VS charms with its light amber color highlighted by copper reflections. The nose is delicate and expressive, revealing aromas of apple, apricot, caramel, vanilla, pastry and flambéed banana. On the palate, the texture is silky, broad and fresh, supported by generous fruit and a subtle hint of black pepper. Marquis de Montesquiou is a house founded in 1936 by the Montesquiou family, one of whose ancestors, d’Artagnan, inspired the legend of the Musketeers. Its know-how, passed down by only three cellar masters since 1955, is expressed through a rigorous selection of eaux-de-vie sourced from Bas-Armagnac and Ténarèze.
