Marquis de Montesquiou 30 Years Old is crafted from a blend of Baco, Folle Blanche, and Ugni Blanc grapes sourced from Bas-Armagnac and Ténarèze. Showing a deep amber hue with copper reflections, this Armagnac offers a velvety texture of remarkable elegance. Its profound profile brings together dried fruits, ripe fruits, mellowed oak, and pronounced rancio, ending in an extraordinarily long finish. The Armagnacs in this blend are aged for a minimum of 30 years in oak casks. During this time, the spirit breathes, oxidizes, and develops complex aromas of dried fruits, spices, and caramel. This process transforms the texture and aromatic profile of the spirit while softening its harshest notes. Marquis de Montesquiou was founded in 1936 by the Montesquiou family, whose ancestors include d’Artagnan, the inspiration behind the legendary Musketeers. Passed down through only three Cellar Masters since 1955, its expertise is expressed through a rigorous selection of the region's finest eaux-de-vie.
