Marquis de Montesquiou 15 Years Old is crafted from a blend of Baco, Folle Blanche, and Ugni Blanc grapes sourced from Bas-Armagnac and Ténarèze. Featuring a deep amber color, this Armagnac presents a full, harmonious profile where structured oak pairs with dried fruits, spices, and a delicate touch of rancio. It finishes with impressive length and oak elegance, demonstrating full maturity. The Armagnacs in this blend are aged for a minimum of 15 years in oak casks. During this time, the spirit breathes, oxidizes, and develops complex aromas of dried fruits, spices, and caramel. This process transforms the texture and aromatic profile of the spirit while softening its harshest notes. Marquis de Montesquiou was founded in 1936 by the Montesquiou family, whose ancestors include d’Artagnan, the inspiration behind the legendary Musketeers. Passed down through only three Cellar Masters since 1955, its expertise is expressed through a rigorous selection of the region's finest eaux-de-vie.
