While the pulp of the kalamansi is distinctly acidic, its peel is relatively milder, offering a flavor reminiscent of pomelo and kumquat. The kalamansi liqueur therefore reveals softer, more orange-toned notes of mandarin, clementine, kumquat, and grapefruit. This liqueur, free from any coloring or artificial flavoring, is crafted using freshly picked citrus fruits to preserve the full aroma and subtlety of their peels. These peels are left to macerate in 96% neutral alcohol to fully release their flavors and essences. Each liqueur is unique, as every citrus fruit contributes its own aromatic complexity.
