KILCHOMAN 18 ans Family Collection Ex-Bourbon Barrels

The Family Collection is a series of four single malts that celebrates Kilchoman’s craftsmanship and family heritage. Each year, the five members of the Wills family individually select exceptional casks, discovered in the most hidden corners of the distillery’s cellars, that reflect their personal tastes and their vision of Kilchoman’s character. This first Family Collection series brings together four expressions aged 11, 14, 18, and 20 years, illustrating the influence of time and maturation in bourbon and sherry casks on the distillery’s unique style. Aged exclusively in bourbon casks, this 18-year-old reveals an elegant nose of honey, ripe peach, candied lemon, and vanilla. The palate, full-bodied and silky, unveils exotic fruits, creamy malt, and perfectly integrated smoke, leading to a long finish of citrus, oak, and sea spray.
