KILCHOMAN 11 ans Family Collection Ex-Oloroso Butts

The Family Collection is a series of four single malts that celebrates Kilchoman’s craftsmanship and family heritage. Each year, the five members of the Wills family individually select exceptional casks, discovered in the most hidden corners of the distillery’s cellars, that reflect their personal tastes and their vision of Kilchoman’s character. This first Family Collection series brings together four expressions aged 11, 14, 18, and 20 years, illustrating the influence of time and maturation in bourbon and sherry casks on the distillery’s unique style. Blended from Oloroso sherry casks, this 11-year-old reveals a rich nose of raisins, dates, candied orange, and dark chocolate. The palate, rich and spicy, blends dried fruits, caramelized nuts, and peaty smoke, elegantly balanced by citrus notes and a hint of saltiness.
