Each sip reveals warmth and softness, with notes of raisins, stewed fruits, spices, delicate orange zest, and floral nuances. The Oloroso cask maturation brings aromas of dried fruits, leather, and tobacco, while the Tawny port cask ageing adds a sumptuous richness, with notes of dark chocolate and mandarin oil. An extended harmonisation period has allowed the whisky to draw additional sweetness from the wood’s natural sugars, delivering a delicately sweet finish.
