Crafted in the heart of Japan by Kijuro, this Tokubetsu Honjozo (‘special blend’) is produced using traditional brewing methods. Made from carefully selected rice polished to 60 per cent (seimaibuai), it benefits from the addition of a tiny amount of pure neutral alcohol prior to pressing. This technical process enhances the volatile aromas and results in a supple, clean and versatile structure, ideal for serving at room temperature, chilled or warmed (Kankan).

Nose : Subtle and cereal-like. Lovely notes of steamed rice and sesame seeds, accompanied by a hint of crisp apple and a touch of cellar dampness.
