Nose : Rich, complex. The candied (plum, pear), honeyed (lime blossom, heather) and tertiary (date and dried fig) first nose also displays a magnificent rancio (apricot, brandied cherries). Allowed to breathe, cocoa powder and grated ginger shower the aroma palette.

Appearance : Vieil or soutenu.

Palate : Full-bodied, elegant. Coated in a fine layer of salted butter caramel, the attack is also characterized by notes of candied citrus fruit (lemon, mandarin). The nobly spiced mid-palate (cardamom, clove) develops incredibly sophisticated chocolate registers.

Overall : Long, rich. Delicious raisin and peach skin tannins gently envelop the taste buds initially. The exotic after-taste (banana, mango) lingers with flavours of biscuit, toffee and remarkably fresh coffee cream.
