PROFILE : This single malt reveals a fresh and complex profile, featuring vanilla, fruity, herbal, minty and spicy notes. Selected exclusively by La Maison du Whisky for the Les Anthologistes Collection, this single cask No. 7445 was matured in a hogshead cask and bottled at cask strength.

INDEPENDENT BOTTLER : Founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington, Signatory Vintage is one of Scotland's most respected independent bottlers. Its famous Cask Strength Collection highlights exceptional single casks bottled at their natural strength, without chill-filtration or colouring.

Color : jaune doré soutenu.

Nose : fresh, complex. At first, vanilla, exotic fruit (pineapple, banana), herbal notes (cut hay) and fruit (pear, mirabelle plum) literally burst from the glass. With aeration, the aromatic palette becomes slightly medicinal (arnica), spicy (clove, nutmeg) and mentholated.

Palate : lively, elegant. Resting on a bed of green barley, flavours of acacia honey, coconut milk and pineapple intermingle harmoniously. Over time, grated ginger, cocoa beans and vanilla pods gradually take over the palate with great finesse.

Overall : delicate, radiant. Alternately infused with herbal notes (verbena, sage), creamy and juicy (Williams pear, white peach), it develops towards more resinous (pine), fermentative (bread crust) and vegetal (green bean) registers. Remarkably fresh, the retro-olfaction offers a profusion of liquorice (stick), mentholated and candied lemon flavours.
