Nose : delicate, complex. Driven by a fruity rancio (orange, apricot), chocolatey and spicy (candied ginger), the aromatic palette is remarkable for its finesse and elegance. With aeration, aromas of heather honey, dried fruits (date, hazelnut), and old plum eau-de-vie confer a splendid maturity of expression.

Appearance : cuivre orangé.

Palate : ample, full-bodied. Supported by liqueur-like notes of rock sugar and a pleasant herbal bitterness (sugarcane), the flavour profile embraces the mature, rancio tones of the nose (orange, apricot, prune). Then, silky, it evolves toward more powdery (cocoa), vanilla (pod), and medicinal (ointment) registers.

Overall : long, smooth. In perfect medicinal continuity with the palate, it gradually adopts heady (geranium, wallflower) and spicy (cardamom) notes. On the retro-nasal phase, molasses flavours blend harmoniously with notes of black liquorice, precious woods (sandalwood), roasted mango, and dried apricot.
