Its name evokes the elusive Drumshanbo Jackalope, an imaginary creature from American folklore, combining elements of a hare and an antelope. The recipe for Sardinian Citrus Gin was born during PJ Rigney's journey along the 41st parallel north in Italy. When he arrived in the Italian village of Siniscola, the locals introduced him to the Citrus Mostruosa, an endemic citrus fruit from Sardinia.
